Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the financial performance of PT Timah Tbk before and after the corruption case that emerged in early 2024. Using a quantitative descriptive comparative method, this study examines the company’s liquidity, solvency, activity, and profitability ratios based on financial reports for 2023 and 2024, compared to industry averages. The findings indicate that PT Timah Tbk experienced a significant recovery in 2024, particularly in profitability and liquidity, as the company implemented cost efficiency and strategic management measures despite the negative impact of the corruption news
