Abstract

The financial literacy of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is low, making it difficult for this business to develop. MSME financial literacy research uses basic statistical analysis and descriptive explanations both quantitatively and qualitatively with various results, there have been many but no one has mapped and reviewed the trend of this research further. This study aims to map research topics on financial literacy in MSMEs. The bibliometric literature review and vosviewers methods are the analysis methods of this study. Based on the results with the Harzing Publish or Perish Application to collect 500 articles from Google Scholar for the period 2014-2024, 199 articles were obtained according to the criteria. The most articles were published in 2020 were 36 article with the highest citation of 322 with the author O Fatoki in 2014 with a Scopus Q4 reputation. The Sustainability Journal is the most productive in its publications. B Gavurova is the most productive author for that period. Mapping of research topics contains 8 clusters discussing financial literacy and MSMEs. Profitability, Financial Constraints, and Digital Financial Literacy are opportunities for further research topics.
